Electric cars are plug-in electric automobiles. These cars have been introduced in market since 2008 due to certain inflation in the world. To reduce the inflation and demoralize the unbelievable value of oil rates in the market, plug-in electric cars got introduced. If we compare Internal Combustion Engine cars with Electric Cars then undoubtedly electric cars will surprise us. These cars do not require high amount of oil and do not even produce heavy car smoke.

These cars do not bring negative impact on health as compared to other cars. Charging points of these cars can be maintained at home or even in public places. In USA, most of the places are having charging points of these cars in public due to prevailing large amount of people using these electric cars. These cars are generally light in weight and require less power but these cars are extremely efficient speed wise. These cars can be used from general roads to busy highways as well. Electric cars have different kinds according to the size their batteries. These batteries decide their speed tendency. An electric car carrying solar panels to power is known as a solar car and an electric car powered by a gasoline generator is a form of hybrid car.

We have two best-selling electric vehicles, the Nissan Leaf and the Tesla Model S, have EPA ranges reaching 151 miles (243 km) and 335 miles (539 km) respectively. As of June 2017, there were over 2 million electric cars in use around the world. The Nissan Leaf is the best-selling highway-capable electric car ever, with over 300,000 units sold globally by January 2018 and Tesla Model S with almost 213,000 units sold worldwide till December 2017.
